Terms

Plain language, because these should be readable. Using finds.events means agreeing to what is below.

What the service does

finds.events discovers event listings published on public websites in your city, builds integrations to read them, and republishes them as a calendar at your own subdomain. It re-checks and repairs those integrations on a schedule you choose.

Accuracy

Event information comes from other people's websites. We work hard to keep it correct, and the system refuses to publish a source that returns nothing — but we cannot guarantee that every event, date, price or location is accurate or current. Check with the venue before you travel.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at hello@finds.events if you think someone else has it.

Acceptable use

Do not use finds.events to:

Content and ownership

Event listings belong to whoever published them; we republish public information and credit the source. Your city configuration is yours. The software and the platform are ours.

Payment

Prices shown on the home page are placeholders while billing is being finished. No one is charged without agreeing to a price first.

Availability

We aim to keep calendars up and current, but the service is provided as is, without warranty. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

Ending it

Write to hello@finds.events to close your account at any time; we stop publishing and delete your record. We may suspend an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules above, and we will tell you why.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will say so in the service before the change takes effect.
